Andropogon bentii is a species of grass in the family Poaceae. It is found only in the Socotra archipelago in the Indian Ocean, a part of Yemen.{{Cite web|url=http://plants.jstor.org/specimen/ft002315?history=true&|title=Edit History: Hibiscus socotranus G.Ll.Lucas [family MALVACEAE] on JSTOR|website=plants.jstor.org|access-date=2016-07-05}} Its natural habitat is succulent and dwarf shrubland on limestone escarpments and plateaus. It takes its name from its collector (1897), the British explorer Theodore Bent.
