Club career

Anghel Crețeanu was born on 5 April 1910 in Galați, Romania, starting to play football at local club, DVA in the regional league. International career

Anghel Crețeanu played six games at international level for Romania, making his debut on 30 December 1934 under coach Alexandru Săvulescu who used him as a starter but replaced him after 15 minutes with Carol Burdan in a 3–2 away victory with Bulgaria at the 1934–35 Balkan Cup.{{cite web|url=https://eu-football.info/_player.php?id=3959|title=Anghel Crețeanu|publisher=European Football|access-date=31 March 2020}}{{cite web|url=https://eu-football.info/_match.php?id=5762|title=Bulgaria 2-3 Romania|publisher=European Football|access-date=2 April 2024}} His following three games were at the 1935 Balkan Cup.
