Personal life
Orrison was born in Arlington County, Virginia on June 29, 1961,{{cite book |location=Richmond, Virginia |title=Virginia, Births, 1864–2016 |publisher=Virginia Department of Health}} to Karen ({{nee|Olson}}) and Charles Orrison, and grew up in McLean.
