Classification

Antesaka is an Austronesian language part of the Central-Eastern Malagasic branch of Malagasy.

Geographical distribution

The Antesaka dialect is spoken from South of Farafangana district to Fort-Dauphin district and from the Bara Iakora District in the West to the Indian Ocean in the East.
