The Anuy ({{langx|ru|река́ Ану́й}}) is a left tributary of the Ob originating in the Altai Mountains of Siberia, Russia.[http://bse.sci-lib.com/article064170.html Ануй (река в Алтайском кр.)], Great Soviet Encyclopedia It is {{convert|327|km}} long, and has a drainage basin of {{convert|6930|km2}}.{{GVR|187978|Река АНУЙ}}
The Chyorny Anuy and the smaller Bely Anuy join to form the Anuy. The Chyorny Anuy starts at an elevation of {{convert|1220|m|ft}} at the southeastern end of the Anuy mountain range in the Altai Republic. Flowing in a northwestern direction, it enters Altai Krai after about {{convert|40|km|mi}}. The two rivers join near Soloneshensky District.
The Anuy exits the Altai mountains at an elevation of {{convert|250|m|ft}} and flows in a northeastern to eastern direction. Near the village of Anuyskoye, the river takes a northern direction and joins the Ob west of Biysk at an elevation of about {{convert|150|m|ft}}.
The average flow at Staro-Tirishkino, about {{convert|10|km|mi|0}} near the river's end, is about {{convert|36.1|m3/s|cuft/s}} with a minimum of {{convert|6.9|m3/s|cuft/s}} in February and a maximum of {{convert|123|m3/s|cuft/s}} in April.[http://www.r-arcticnet.sr.unh.edu/v4.0/ViewPoint.pl?Point=6709 Flow Gauge at Staro-Tirishkino]
The Anuy is frozen between November and April. It is not navigable.
The Denisova Cave is approximately {{convert|28|m|ft}} above the right bank of the Anuy.
