Design and development
The Apollo Fox was derived from the Aeropro Eurofox, which itself was a metric adaptation of the Denney Kitfox. The Kitfox in turn is a derivative of the Avid Flyer.{{cite web|url=http://www.eurofoxuk.co.uk/LA%20Nov%20EuroFOX%20FD%20flight%20test.pdf|title=EuroFox|work=eurofoxuk.co.uk|access-date=30 May 2016|archive-url= https://web.archive.org/web/20120620013740/http://www.eurofoxuk.co.uk/LA%20Nov%20EuroFOX%20FD%20flight%20test.pdf|archive-date= 20 June 2012|url-status=dead}} The Apollo Fox was adapted to comply with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale microlight rules and US light-sport aircraft rules. It features a strut-braced high-wing, a two-seats-in-side-by-side configuration enclosed cockpit, fixed tricycle landing gear or optionally conventional landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration.{{cite web|url = http://www.sportpilot.org/learn/slsa/Apollo%20Fox.html#TopOfPage|title = Apollo Fox|accessdate = 30 April 2012|last = Experimental Aircraft Association|date = 2012|archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20120307162254/http://www.sportpilot.org/learn/slsa/Apollo%20Fox.html#TopOfPage|archive-date = 7 March 2012|url-status = dead}}{{cite web|url = https://www.eurofox.fi/suku/juuret.html|title = Eurofox Sukulaisuus|access-date = 1 February 2020 |work =www.eurofox.fi |archiveurl = https://web.archive.org/web/20170314060106/https://www.eurofox.fi/suku/juuret.html|archivedate = 14 March 2017|lang=fi}}
