Arnex-sur-Orbe ({{IPA|fr|aʁnɛ syʁ ɔʁb|-|LL-Q150 (fra)-Eihel-Arnex-sur-Orbe.wav}}, literally Arnex on Orbe) is a municipality in the Swiss canton of Vaud, located in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois.
History
Geography
Arnex-sur-Orbe has an area, {{as of|2009|lc=on}}, of {{convert|7.6|km2|mi2|sp=us}}. Of this area, {{convert|5.6|km2|mi2|abbr=on}} or 73.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while {{convert|1.48|km2|mi2|abbr=on}} or 19.4% is forested. Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 2.2% and transportation infrastructure made up 3.7%. Out of the forested land, 18.0% of the total land area is heavily forested and 1.4% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. Of the agricultural land, 60.2% is used for growing crops and 7.4% is pastures, while 6.0% is used for orchards or vine crops. All the water in the municipality is flowing water.
