Artonis is a genus of orb-weaver spiders first described by Eugène Simon in 1895.{{cite book| last=Simon| first=E.| year=1895| title=Histoire naturelle des araignées| doi=10.5962/bhl.title.51973}} {{as of|2019|04}} it contains only two species, A. gallana from Ethiopia and A. bituberculata from Myanmar.{{cite web| title=Gen.
