Artyom Kuptsov

Artyom Kuptsov ({{langx|ru|link=no|Артём Купцов}}, born 22 April 1984) is a Russian pole vaulter.

Career

As a junior, he won the gold medal at the 2001 World Youth Championships, finished fifth at the 2002 World Junior Championships, won a silver medal at the 2003 European Junior Championships,{{cite web|url=http://www.gbrathletics.com/ic/ejm.htm|title=European Junior Championships (Men)|work=GBR Athletics|publisher=Athletics Weekly|accessdate=24 August 2015}} and a bronze medal at the 2003 Military World Games.{{cite web|url=http://www.gbrathletics.com/ic/mwg.htm|title=CISM Military World Games|work=GBR Athletics|publisher=Athletics Weekly|accessdate=24 August 2015}} He formerly held the world junior record with 5.66 metres.{{cite web|url=http://www.gbrathletics.com/wrecj.htm|title=World Junior Records and Best Performances|work=GBR Athletics|publisher=Athletics Weekly|accessdate=24 August 2015}}
