Arun Kumar Choudhury (6 January 1923 – 6 September 1987) was the Indian founding head{{Cite web|url=https://cucse.org/History.htm|title=::History of the Department|website=cucse.org}} of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering{{Cite web|url=https://www.caluniv.ac.in/academic/Compsc.html|title=Computer Science and Engineering - CU|website=www.caluniv.ac.in}} at the University of Calcutta.
