Asa'el ({{Langx|he|עשהאל}}), also known as Mitzpe Asa'el ({{langx|he|מצפה עשהאל||Asa'el Lookout}}), is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located three kilometres south-east of Shim'a, it falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank, like Asa'el, illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.{{Cite web |last=Magid |first=Jacob |title=US slams legalization of 3 West Bank outposts 'previously illegal under Israeli law' |url=https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-slams-legalization-of-3-west-bank-outposts-previously-illegal-under-israeli-law/ |access-date=2023-10-01 |website=The Times of Israel |language=en-US}}
