Asian philately

Asian philately, or Far-Eastern philately, is a specialized area of philately which focuses on the stamps of China, Japan, Hong Kong and neighboring countries. Stamp collectors and stamp dealers often specialize in a particular aspect of Asian philately, and many stamp auctions are devoted to this area of interest. Hong Kong is a major center for Asian philately with Chinese collectors and investors some of the biggest buyers.{{cite news |title=Zurich Asia Hosts a Buoyant Stamp Auction in Hong Kong|author=Liu Yang|url=http://www.artinfo.com/news/story/35769/zurich-asia-hosts-a-buoyant-stamp-auction-in-hong-kong/|newspaper=ARTINFO China|date=September 14, 2010|access-date=January 11, 2011}}[https://www.wsj.com/articles/SB125369338938433437?mod=slideshow_overlay_mod "Philatelic Fever"] Wall Street Journal.
