August Sabac el Cher

August Sabac el Cher was an early Afro-German official at the court of Prussia.

Life

August, though not yet named that, was given to Prince Albert of Prussia as a boy in 1843{{cite web|url=http://blackgermans.us/new/page/25/ |title=Black German Heritage & Research Association - Part 25 |publisher=Blackgermans.us |date= |accessdate=2013-09-06}} when the Prince was in Egypt.
