Avesso is a white Portuguese wine grape[http://www.vivc.de/datasheet/dataResult.php?data=798 Avesso], Vitis International Variety Catalogue, accessed on June 27, 2010 planted primarily in the Minho region of Portugal. It can make full-bodied aromatic wines. Ampelographers believe it may be related to the Portuguese grape Jaen. J.
