Axis Of are a three-piece alternative rock band from Portstewart, Northern Ireland.{{Cite web|url=https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Musician-Band/Axisof/about/|title=Axis Of|website=Facebook.com|accessdate=2020-06-05}} The band is composed of Niall Lawlor (guitar, vocals) and Ewen Friers (bass, vocals).

History

Following one of the band's UK tours in early 2010, Rock Sound magazine dubbed them "the most exciting band to come out of Northern Ireland, possibly ever" and gave them a 9/10 rating for their live performance at a show in Newcastle.{{cn|date=August 2012}} As a result of this coverage the band were subsequently asked to take part in a Maida Vale Studios session in January 2011.{{cite episode| title=Axis Of at Maida Vale Studios|series=Maida Vale Studios| publisher=BBC Online| airdate=13 January 2011| url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00d7xm9| accessdate=29 August 2012}}
