Development

The Backyard History podcast started during the Covid-19 Pandemic,CBC, https://ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/2038646/backyard-history-andrew-maclean-livre and several of its more popular segments then gathered for the first book "Backyard History: Forgotten Stories From Atlantic Canada's Past".

In October 2024, a television show entitled Backyard History also launched on Bell Fibe.
