History
Bagdarin Airport ({{langx|ru|Багдарин аэропорт}}) was opened in October 1967 during the time of the Soviet Union. Initially, services were offered by Aeroflot.{{cite book|first=Hugh|last=MacDonald|title=Aėroflot: Soviet Air Transport Since 1923|location=London|publisher=Putnam|year=1975|isbn=978-0-37000-117-3|page=117}} From 1968, Buryatia Airlines operated flights from the airport.{{cite book|title=Бизнес-карта 2007. In 2013 the airport was re-opened, when PANH opened the new flight to Ulan-Ude.
