Bare ({{lang-sq-definite|Barja}}, {{Langx|sr|Баре/Bare}}) is a village in the municipality of Mitrovica in the District of Mitrovica, Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, it had 841 inhabitants,{{Cite web|url=http://pop-stat.mashke.org/kosovo-census-ks.htm|title = Kosovo}} all of whom were Albanian.{{Cite web|url=http://pop-stat.mashke.org/kosovo-ethnic-loc2011.htm|title = Ethnic composition of Kosovo 2011}} It is part of the region Shala e Bajgorës.

History

During the Kosovo War, the Brigade 141 "Mehë Uka" of the Kosovo Liberation Army was active in the village.
