It is located just off the N11 road.

Public transport

The village is served by a bus stop on the N11 road. It is served daily in each direction by several (but not all) coaches on Bus Éireann's Expressway route 2 (Wexford-Arklow-Dublin-Dublin Airport). It is also served albeit infrequently by Bus Éireann route 384.{{cite web|url=http://buseireann.ie/pdf/1377070780-002.pdf |title=Archived copy |access-date=15 September 2013 |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20131007172040/http://buseireann.ie/pdf/1377070780-002.pdf |archive-date=7 October 2013 }}{{cite web|url=http://journeyplanner.buseireann.ie/jp/bin/|title=Bus Éireann|accessdate=27 September 2016|archive-date=9 March 2016|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160309000544/http://journeyplanner.buseireann.ie/jp/bin/|url-status=dead}}{{cite web|url=http://www.buseireann.ie/news_timetable.php?id=1349&month=Aug|title=Timetable News – Bus Éireann – View Ireland Bus and Coach Timetables & Buy Tickets|accessdate=27 September 2016}} The nearest railway station is Wicklow railway station.

Until the end of September 2012 Bus Éireann route 2 used to stop at Ballincor numerous times each day. From then this changed, resulting in considerable public dissatisfaction with the decision – as the bus provided a useful link to hospitals as well as for commuting and other purposes. The stop was reinstated in the route 2 timetable from 25 August 2013.{{cite web|url=http://www.independent.ie/regionals/wicklowpeople/news/non-stop-28847379.html|title=NON STOP – Independent.ie|accessdate=27 September 2016}}{{cite web|url=http://www.independent.ie/regionals/wicklowpeople/localnotes/route-2-clarified-by-bus-ireann-28847828.html|title=Route 2 clarified by Bus Éireann – Independent.ie|accessdate=27 September 2016}}
