Barypeithes pellucidus is a species of weevil native to Europe.Fauna EuropaeaMorris, M. G., 1997 Curculionidae: Entiminae (Broad-nosed weevils) RES Royal Entomological Society Handbooks Handbooks for the identification of British Insects. Volume 5 part 17a. It has been found in North American hardwood forests for over a century.
