Basil de Sélincourt

In 1900, de Sélincourt was an Acting Professor of Greek at the University of Sydney{{Cite web |title=Calendar of the University of Sydney 1900 |url=https://archives-search.sydney.edu.au/nodes/view/47635 |access-date=2025-03-20 |website=University of Sydney Archives |language=en}} and from 1900-1901 served as President of the Sydney University Union{{Cite news |date=1900-12-15 |title=SYDNEY UNIVERSITY UNION. |url=https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/14353269 |access-date=2025-03-20 |work=Sydney Morning Herald}} (now the University of Sydney Union).

De Sélincourt died in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire in February 1966.
