Battle Creek is a {{convert|67|mi|km|sigfig=2|adj=on}} long tributary of the Owyhee River. Beginning at an elevation of {{convert|6704|ft|m|sigfig=4}} in central Owyhee County, Idaho, it flows generally south through the Owyhee Desert to its mouth west of Riddle,{{cite map|publisher=Benchmark Maps|title=Idaho Road and Recreation Atlas|edition=2nd|year=2010|scale=1:250,000|page=80|isbn=978-0-929591-06-3|oclc=567571371}} at an elevation of {{convert|4636|ft|m|sigfig=4}}.
