The Battle of Martorell of 1114 was fought between Ramon Berenguer III and the counties of Urgel and Cerdanya against the Almoravids.

Background

Once freed from the presence of El Cid in Valencia, the Almoravids were able to begin campaigns towards the counties of Barcelona and Urgel and the kingdom of Aragon.
