Bear Grylls: Mission Survive is a reality television show presented by Bear Grylls featuring eight celebrities on a 12-day survival mission. The celebrities are tested on fundamental principles of survival, and have to navigate through difficult terrains.{{cite web |url=http://www.itv.com/presscentre/press-releases/bear-grylls-stars-mission-survive-itv-0 |title=Bear Grylls stars in Mission Survive on ITV |date=2 Feb 2015 |work=ITV }}

Grylls is assisted by survival expert Megan Hine and former commando Scott Heffield, who accompany the celebrities.{{cite news|author=John Plunkett |url=https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/27/bear-grylls-celebrities-mission-survive-itv |title=Bear Grylls pushes celebrities to the limit in Mission Survive |work=The Guardian |date=27 January 2015 |accessdate=12 February 2015}} Their assessment of how the celebrities performed helps Grylls decide whom to eliminate in each episode.
