The Beaudesert Times is a newspaper published in Beaudesert, Queensland, Australia.

History

The newspaper was a result of the merger of two existing newspapers, The Beaudesert Despatch and Logan and Albert Leader and The Beaudesert Herald with politician Patrick James Leahy holding the controlling interest. John Adamson Walker and F. Parker had formerly run the Herald and they became manager and editor respectively of the new paper. After Parker left, Walker became the managing editor.{{Cite web|title = About Us: Beaudesert Times|url = http://www.beaudeserttimes.com.au/about-us/|website = www.beaudeserttimes.com.au|access-date = 2016-02-01|first = |last = |publisher = Fairfax Regional Media}} The first issue was published on 10 October 1908; it cost threepence.{{cite web|title=About us|url=http://www.beaudeserttimes.com.au/about-us/|website=Beaudesert Times|publisher=Beaudesert Times|accessdate=12 June 2014}}{{Citation | title=The Beaudesert Times | publication-date=1908 | publisher=The Beaudesert Times|url=http://trove.nla.gov.au/work/33692713 }}
