Career
Miller was born in 1950 in Brooklyn, New York.{{cite web|url=http://www.thirteen.org/freetodance/biographies/bmiller.html|title=Great Performances: Free To Dance - Biographies - Bebe Miller|website=www.thirteen.org|accessdate=13 January 2018}} Following her graduation from Ohio State University with a degree in dance, Miller danced in the troupe of Nina Wiener for six years.{{cite book|author=Kassing, Gayle|title=History of Dance, 2E|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=QAMkDwAAQBAJ&pg=PA254|date=17 May 2017|publisher=Human Kinetics|isbn=978-1-4925-3669-7|pages=254–}} She formed her own company, Bebe Miller Dance, in 1984. Miller was a professor of dance at the Ohio State University from 2000 to 2017, holding the rank of Distinguished Professor in the Arts and Humanities when she retired. - New York Foundation for the Arts Choreographer's Fellowship, 1984 and 1991;
- National Endowment for the Arts Choreographer's Fellowship, 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1988;
- New York Dance and Performance Award ("Bessie") for choreography, 1986, and 1987;
