Beirut Naval Base

Beirut Naval Base ({{langx|ar|قاعدة بيروت البحرية|translit=Kaidat Beirut al Bahriyah}}) is the first naval base and the headquarters of the Lebanese Navy, established in 1950. The base comprises a part of Port of Beirut,{{cite news|publisher=Lebanese Armed Forces|url=http://www.lebarmy.gov.lb/Arabic/NavyMain.asp|title=Lebanese Navy|accessdate=November 28, 2008|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081218110353/http://www.lebarmy.gov.lb/Arabic/NavyMain.asp|archive-date=2008-12-18|url-status=dead}} and was affected by the massive ammonium nitrate explosion on 4 August 2020.
