The BelAZ 75710 is an ultra class haul truck manufactured in Belarus by BelAZ. As of 2013, it was the world's largest, highest payload capacity haul truck.

Design

The BelAZ 75710 has a conventional two-axle setup but the wheels are doubled, one to an axle, imitating the 1950s International Payhauler 350. For this reason, it needs two 59/80R63 tires.{{cite web|title=Belaz Unveils World’s Largest Mining Truck|url=http://www.belaztrucks.com/belaz-unveils-worlds-largest-mining-truck/|publisher=Belaz Trucks Americas|accessdate=17 December 2014|url-status=dead|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20141220231215/http://www.belaztrucks.com/belaz-unveils-worlds-largest-mining-truck/|archivedate=20 December 2014|df=}} It also has four-wheel drive and four-wheel hydraulic steering which is unusual. It has a turning radius of about {{cvt|31|m|||abbr=}}.{{cite web|title=Belaz Unveils World’s Largest Mining Truck|url=http://www.belaztrucks.com/belaz-unveils-worlds-largest-mining-truck/|publisher=Belaz Trucks Americas|accessdate=17 December 2014|url-status=dead|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20141220231215/http://www.belaztrucks.com/belaz-unveils-worlds-largest-mining-truck/|archivedate=20 December 2014|df=}}

Project history

BelAZ produces the 75710 in a new facility constructed by Soligorsk Construction Trust No. 3. Overall, BelAZ has invested $954 million in increasing its total production capacity.{{cite web|title=BelAZ to build 450-tonne dump truck 2013|url=http://www.russiasupplychain.com/belaz-to-build-450-tonne-dump-truck-2013/|work=Russia Supply Chain|accessdate=3 October 2013|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130928054957/http://www.russiasupplychain.com/belaz-to-build-450-tonne-dump-truck-2013/|archive-date=28 September 2013|url-status=dead}}
