Berdale ({{langx|ymm|Berdaali}}, {{langx|so|Mahaa Berdaale}}) is a town in the southern Bay region of Somalia, in South West State of Somalia, and is also known as Bardale.{{Cite web|title=Cargo plane "shot down" in Somalia, all occupants killed|url=https://www.garoweonline.com/en/news/somalia/a-cargo-plane-shot-down-in-somalia-all-on-board-are-dead|website=Garowe Online|language=en-US|access-date=2020-05-22}} It is the center of the Berdale District.

On 4 May, 2020, this was the site of an aircraft shootdown incident.
