Bevin Fortuin (born 6 February 1979) is a former South African international rugby union player and currently the head coach of the {{Rut|SWD Eagles}}.{{SA Rugby Player Profile | id=20698 | name=Bevin Fortuin | date=29 May 2016}}{{cite web | url=http://www.espnscrum.com/statsguru/rugby/player/15415.html | title=ESPN Scrum Player Profile Bevin Fortuin | work=ESPN Scrum | access-date=29 April 2013}} His regular playing position was fullback or centre.

Career

=Provincial=

He started playing for local side {{Rut|SWD Eagles}}, playing for them at youth level from 1998 until he made his senior debut in 2000. He played for them for six seasons, before joining the {{Rut|Free State Cheetahs}} in 2005, where he spent a further four seasons. During this time, he also represented Super Rugby side the {{Rut|Cheetahs}}, making 22 appearances for them between 2006 and 2008.

He returned to the {{Rut|SWD Eagles}} for the 2009 Currie Cup First Division, as well as the 2010 season. =International=

He made his debut for South Africa against {{nrut|Ireland}} in 2006. In 2007, he was included in the South African team for the 2007 Tri Nations tournament, where he played in one match against {{nrut|Australia}}.

=Coaching=
