Bindax is a genus of jumping spiders that was first described by Tamerlan Thorell in 1892.{{cite journal| last=Thorell| first=T.| year=1892| title=Studi sui ragni Malesi e Papuani| journal=Annali del Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Genova| pages=1–490| volume=31| author-link=Tamerlan Thorell}} {{as of|2019|06}} it contains only two species, found only on the Solomon Islands and Sulawesi: B. chalcocephalus and B. oscitans.{{cite journal| title=Gen.
