Blacks Beach is a coastal suburb, one of the "northern beaches" of the city of Mackay in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia.{{cite QPN|49723|Blacks Beach|suburb in Mackay Region|accessdate=27 December 2020}} In the {{CensusAU|2021}}, Blacks Beach had a population of 4,153 people.
Geography
Blacks Beach boasts a continuous {{convert|6|km|mi}} beach, the longest in the Mackay region. History
The suburb is named after Maurice Hume Black, who operated The Cedars sugar plantation and mill from 1871. The mill closed in 1885 and the plantation then crushed their sugarcane at the River Estate sugar mill.
