Blaggards are an American Celtic rock band from Houston, Texas. History

After moving to Houston in 1994,{{cite web|url=http://www.houstonpress.com/2001-03-15/music/pluck-of-the-irish/ | title=Pluck of the Irish | publisher=Houston Press | date=2001-03-15 | accessdate=2009-01-20}} Devlin fronted an Irish rock band called On The Dole for several years before starting Blaggards in July 2004 with bass player Chad Smalley (son of Nobel laureate Richard Smalley),{{cite journal |last=Kroto |first=Harold |authorlink=Harry Kroto |year=2005 |title=Richard E. Hoiseth and Vogel have since left the band, leaving Devlin and Smalley as the only original members.
