Robert Eugene Werckle (September 4, 1929 – August 25, 2005) was a college football player. A native of New Jersey,{{cite book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=RS4VAAAAQBAJ&pg=PA124|title=Where Football Is King|publisher=|isbn=9781461734772|last1=Walsh|first1=Christopher J.|date=18 July 2006}} he was a prominent tackle for the Vanderbilt Commodores, captain of the 1951 team.
