Bobbodus is an extinct genus of eugeneodont holocephalian from the Carboniferous and Permian periods.

Species

B. schaefferi is the type species and is known from three specimens, all from what was the eastern coast of the Panthalassic Ocean. Fossils of this species were found in the Kasimovian of Iowa, Gzhelian of Nebraska, Asselian of Kansas.{{cite journal|last1=Schultze |first1=H.-P. |last2=West |first2=R. A second species, B. xerxesi, is known from a single tooth found in Wuchiapingian-aged deposits in the Baghuk Mountains of central Iran. It is named for Xerxes, a famous Archaemenid ruler from the area whose monuments impressed the first author of the paper describing it.{{cite journal|last1=Hampe |first1=Oliver |last2=Hairapetian |first2=Vachik |last3=Dorka |first3=Markus |last4=Witzmann |first4=Florian |last5=Akbari |first5=Amir M. |last6=Korn |first6=Dieter |year=2013 |title=A first Late Permian fish fauna from Baghuk Mountain (Neo-Tethyan shelf, central Iran) |journal=Bulletin of Geosciences |volume=88 |issue=1 |pages=1–20 |doi=10.3140/bull.geosci.1357 |doi-access=free |issn=1214-1119}}
