Johannes Gerhardus Pienaar "Boom" Prinsloo (born 12 March 1989) is a former South African rugby union player who regularly played as a loose forward. He made 51 appearances for the {{Rut|Cheetahs}} in Super Rugby from 2012 to 2017, and played domestically for the {{Rut|Free State Cheetahs}} from 2010 to 2016 and for the {{Rut|Blue Bulls}} in 2017 and 2018. He also played rugby sevens for South Africa from 2010 to 2012.

Career

Prinsloo is a Bloemfontein native and represented the {{Rut|Free State Cheetahs}} in the Currie Cup and the {{Rut|Cheetahs}} in Super Rugby.{{SA Rugby Player Profile | id=42672 | name=Boom Prinsloo | date=30 May 2016}}
