Boris Buneev (1921-2015) was a Soviet film director. He was awarded the title of Merited Artist of the Russian Federation in 1973,{{Cite web|url=https://www.kino-teatr.ru/kino/director/sov/21272/bio/|title=БОРИС БУНЕЕВ|website=Kino-Teatr|date=12 April 2024 }} and won the USSR State Prize in 1974 for the film "The Last Meeting".
Biography

In 1944-1949, he was a director at Mosfilm, and then in 1949-1951 and 1952-2005, at the Gorky Film Studio.
