Bosnia and Herzegovina–Canada relations

Bosnia and Herzegovina and Canada established bilateral relations in 1992. Bosnia and Herzegovina has an embassy in Ottawa. Canada has a non resident ambassador in Budapest.

Peacekeeping

Since 1992, more than 40,000 Canadians have served in Bosnia-Herzegovina in Operation Harmony for the United Nations and in Operation Palladium for NATO. 25 Canadians have lost their lives while serving in Bosnia-Herzegovina{{cite web |url=https://reliefweb.int/report/bosnia-and-herzegovina/canadian-operations-bosnia-herzegovina |title=Canadian operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina |date=2005-09-26 |accessdate=2024-07-23 |quote= |publisher= }}
