Braeval distillery is a distiller of Scotch whisky in Chapeltown, Banffshire, Scotland. Founded in 1973 as Braes of Glenlivet, the distillery is owned by Chivas Brothers. The name was changed to avoid confusion with an unrelated single malt.{{cite web|title=Baeval|url=http://www.maltmadness.com/whisky/braeval.html|website=Malt Madness|publisher=Johannes van den Heuvel|access-date=21 June 2014|archive-date=8 December 2010|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20101208125503/http://www.maltmadness.com/whisky/braeval.html|url-status=usurped}}
