NFL coaching

Angelichio starting his tenure in the NFL coaching tight ends with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he came to the NFL from Rutgers{{cite web|title=Rutgers Football Names Brian Angelichio Tight Ends Coach|url=https://scarletknights.com/news/2011/2/3/Rutgers_Football_Names_Brian_Angelichio_Tight_Ends_Coach.aspx|website=Rutgers University Athletics|language=en|access-date=2020-05-11}} with Greg Schiano. This was followed by three years of coaching tight ends for the Green Bay Packers.
