The complex was inaugurated upon GMA's conversion to stereo broadcasting. In 1987, it served as the live studio of variety shows Lunch Date, That's Entertainment, Vilma! and GMA Supershow. In 1995, GMA Network Inc. divided the building into two studios in order to accommodate a permanent 400-person audience for Eat Bulaga!.{{cite web|url=http://wikimapia.org/599462/Broadway-Centrum-Complex |title=Broadway Centrum - Quezon City |publisher=Wikimapia.org |access-date=January 30, 2016}}{{cite web|url=http://showbizandstyle.inquirer.net/entertainment/entertainment/view/20100930-295268/Complete-creative-freedom-in-TV5-shows |title='Complete creative freedom' in TV5 shows |website=inquirer.net |access-date=July 25, 2014 |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140306121032/http://showbizandstyle.inquirer.net/entertainment/entertainment/view/20100930-295268/Complete-creative-freedom-in-TV5-shows |archive-date=March 6, 2014 }}

The east studio of the Broadway Centrum was the main home for the series from September 16, 1995. From January 1 to March 5, 2010, the show was based out of the west studios during a renovation. After the return of Eat to its regular studio, Diz Iz It! was the last GMA show to originate from the west studio with the opening of GMA Network Studios. TV5 then leased the west studio facility from GMA. The Ryzza Mae Show was the last GMA program to use the east studio facility.

TV5 used the west studio for multiple shows, including Face to Face, The Jose and Wally Show Starring Vic Sotto, P.O.5, Star Factor, Hey It's Saberdey! and Artista Academy.
