Brougham was a short-lived hip hop/rap rock side project founded by Jason Slater and his childhood friend Luke Oakson aka Luke Sick (Sacred Hoop) in Palo Alto, California, USA.{{Cite web|url=https://nypost.com/2020/12/09/jason-slater-original-third-eye-blind-bassist-dead-at-49/|title=Jason Slater, original Third Eye Blind bassist, dead at 49|date=December 9, 2020|website=newyorkpost.com|accessdate=December 14, 2020}} Brougham recorded an album, Le Cock Sportif, for Warner Bros. Records in 2000{{cite web|title=Brougham – Le Cock Sportif overview|url=https://www.discogs.com/Brougham-Le-Cock-Sportif/release/1856231|website=Discogs|accessdate=14 December 2020}} but the album was a commercial flop. Brougham attempted to work on a second album during 2005 and 2006, though this was never completed. Following Jason Slater's death in 2020, the demos for the second album were released under the name Bateh.
