Buckland Military Training Area

The Buckland Military Training Area (BMTA) is a small arms and manoeuvre range, located {{convert|76|km|mi}} from Hobart, Tasmania.{{cite web |url=http://www.defence.gov.au/minister/Baileytpl.cfm?CurrentId=2177 |title=Buckland Range Goes Hi-Tech |publisher=Department of Defence |accessdate=23 July 2011}} The training area is the largest and most used training area in Tasmania.{{citation needed|date=April 2013}} The range covers 23,428 hectares and has a 400-man camp and Range Complex, which includes a standard grenade range, three sneaker ranges, a snap gallery range, six tactical fire and manoeuvre training areas and a marksmanship training range.
