Bucze {{IPAc-pl|'|b|u|cz|e}} is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubrza, within Świebodzin County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.{{TERYT}} It lies approximately {{convert|6|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} west of Lubrza, {{convert|13|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} west of Świebodzin, {{convert|40|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north of Zielona Góra, and {{convert|50|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south of Gorzów Wielkopolski.

History

During World War II, Nazi Germany operated a forced labour camp for Jewish men in the village.{{cite web|url=https://www.bundesarchiv.de/zwangsarbeit/haftstaetten/index.php?action=2.2&tab=7&id=100001331|title=Zwangsarbeitslager für Juden Wutschdorf|website=Bundesarchiv.de|access-date=20 February 2025|language=de}} During the final stages of the war, on 18 March 1945, German anti-aircraft artillery shot down an American bomber, killing four men, Richard C. Berryman, Norman B. Dahlin, Leslie C. Chavet, Michael J. Jr. Riley.{{cite book|author= |title=Lubuskie po drodze.
