Music career

=2020-present=

In September 2020, Bumpy released debut track "Falling". Triple J said "'Falling' is a seriously special song. Bumpy's raw vocals, a gently-plucked guitar and a splash of timeless, romantic song writing make for a hypnotic serenade that's almost certain to get the spine tinglin' and the goosebumps bumpin'."

This was followed by a two-year hiatus from releasing music.{{cite web|url=https://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/awaye/bumpy-new-music-and-nima-awards/101418846|title=Noongar singer-songwriter Bumpy is back with a vengence |website=Australian Broadcasting Corporation|date=10 September 2022|access-date= 9 September 2023}}

In November 2021, Bumpy was asked to curate the opening night of Melbourne Music Week.{{cite web|url=https://www.pbsfm.org.au/news/bumpy |title= Bumpy|website=PBS FM|date= November 2021| access-date= 9 September 2023}}

In early 2022, it was announced that Bumpy has signed to Astral Music.{{cite web|url= https://www.astralpeople.com/roster/bumpy|title=roster Bumpy|website= Astral|date= 2022| access-date= 9 September 2023}}

In May 2022, Bumpy released her second solo single "Return Home"{{cite web|url=https://www.abc.net.au/doublej/music-reads/features/bumpy-new-music-return-home/13896338 | title= Bumpy has the kind of voice that takes you somewhere special |date=27 May 2022|access-date=14 August 2023|author=Dan Condon| website= Australian Broadcasting Corporation }} In a statement, Bumpy said "'Return Home' surfaced while in isolation and allowed me to express thoughts that I wouldn't usually vocalise. This song has become a grounding reminder that connection is a constant journey whilst spotlighting the importance of home, family and story." "Leave It All Behind" followed in July 2022 and "Hide and Seek" in December 2022.
