Burton's Court (also called Burton Court{{cite web |title=Burton Court Members |url=https://chelsea-pensioners.co.uk/burton-court |website=Royal Chelsea Hospital |access-date=18 September 2024}}) is a park in Chelsea, London.
It belongs to the Royal Chelsea Hospital which is situated on the southside of Royal Hospital Road, and comprises three tennis courts, a tennis academy and a cricket pitch.{{cite web|url=http://www.chelsea-pensioners.co.uk/burton-court-outdoor-sports|title=Burton Court & Outdoor Sports|publisher=Royal Chelsea Hospital|accessdate=22 February 2012}} Burton Court serves as home ground to the Household Division, thus hosting cricket matches many of which involve Army regiments.
History
In 1687-88 a public footpath was established through the park after the building of the hospital.{{cite book|last=Croot|first=Patricia E. C.|title=A history of the County of Middlesex: Chelsea|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=mqMJAQAAIAAJ|accessdate=22 February 2012|year=1911|publisher=Published for the Institute of Historical Research by Oxford University Press|isbn=978-1-904356-24-0|pages=5, 45, 46}} In 1761 this footpath closed at night, resulting in an extra half a mile for pedestrians to walk around it. Garden Row was built in 1733 facing Burton's Court and by 1794 had seven houses.
