Reception

Brigitte Nielsen was nominated for a Golden Raspberry ("Razzie") for Worst Actress at the 10th Golden Raspberry Awards, where she ended up losing to Heather Locklear for The Return of Swamp Thing.{{cite news|title=Razzie is the ultimate dishonor for bad acting |url= https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/147596060/ |url-access=subscription |access-date=15 November 2016 |via=Newspapers.com |work=The Republic |location=Columbus, Indiana |date=14 February 1990 |page=33}}

Los Angeles Times panned the film as thematically repetitive, "daringly banal", and a failure as a sex farce because so little of it is actually comedic.Quoted in Moss (2017). Billiards film review site 8 Ball on the Silver Screen also criticized the film for its unbelievable billiards scenes that indicated no training of Nielsen for the role.
