Production

Design
The C&C 37 is a small recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a masthead sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder. It displaces {{convert|14300|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} and carries {{convert|6000|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} of lead ballast.
The boat has a draft of {{convert|6.70|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the standard fin keel and {{convert|6.00|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the optional shoal draft keel. A centreboard version was also built. It has a draft of {{convert|8.40|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the centreboard extended and {{convert|4.60|ft|m|abbr=on}} with it retracted.
The boat is fitted with a Japanese Yanmar 3HM diesel engine of {{convert|27|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}}. The fuel tank holds {{convert|20|u.s.gal}} and the fresh water tank has a capacity of {{convert|60|u.s.gal}}.
The standard keel version has a PHRF racing average handicap of 69. The shoal draft keel version has a PHRF racing average handicap of 108 with a high of 108 and low of 111. The centreboard version has a PHRF racing average handicap of 114 with a high of 114 and low of 120.
