Biography
C. Lewis Hind was born in 1862.{{Cite news |url=https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-los-angeles-times-c-lewis-hind-aut/132358399/ |title=C. In 1893, he co-founded The Studio: An Illustrated Magazine of Fine and Applied Art.
