History
The company began as Dieschburg & Cigrang, later Cigrang Freres, in 1929. In 1939, the name was changed Compagnie Belge d'Affrètements, operating as Cobelfret. By 2011, the company began operating their RoRo services under CLdN with their bulk service continuing under Cobelfret.

CLdN signed a contract to build 10 container vessels with a capacity of 1,100 TEU by HD Hyundai Mipo in Ulsan, South Korea. They are currently building the two Ro-Ro ships listed above.
